She’ll be telling stories at the Eno River Farmers Market in the morning. After the market you can find her on West King Street near Dual Supply. Be prepared for some funny tales! Cynthia Raxter loves laughter. “Making someone laugh is like giving them a gift they can open all week!”

Cynthia frequently has festival goers ROLLING with laughter! 200 people in the audience? “That’s just 200 people that haven’t met me yet!” She loves to do stand-up in coffee houses and cafes too. She tells stories at senior centers, schools, libraries and children’s story hours. “I’m a giant hit down at the beauty parlor!” she says with a wink!

Cynthia lives in Bynum, NC. She grew up on a farm in the mountains with 6 brothers and sisters and a big extended family! Aunt Lomey, Aunt Leeler, Nell and Homer,…Uncle Pete! And there was one mean dog, Tiny the Chihuahua….
